RendezVous Films is producing a romantic comedy feature film called Kiss the Frogin which an American businesswoman falls in love with a French farmer. Most of the story takes place in a tiny and remote village in the South of France and production will begin in April. Now they just need to find the village.

Writer/director Kevin Dole describes Kiss the Frog as “my love letter to France.” He and his family have been here many times and their experiences inspired the story. Kevin believes there are hundreds—maybe thousands--of villages which would work but since he can only choose one, it has to be perfect. So he’s spreading the word and asking for help.

The ideal village will be small and historic with a remote, isolated feel. It needs to have a small square for a farmers’ market and a village festival. Its houses should be mostly stone and be maison mitoyennes, sharing common walls. It can be anywhere in the south: from the Italian border down through Languedoc-Roussillon to the foothills of the Pyrénées.

Feliz Navidad! As they say in Menorca. This year I will miss the Menorcan Christmas. I guess it is the same as Christmas celebrated throughout the rest of Spain. All I know is that it is much different than Christmas UK. Not necessarily better (though I think so) just different. Very uncommercialised, though that is changing slowly. It is probably like Christmas used to be in the UK 50 years ago. Very family orientated, lots of small celebrations, families getting together, church gatherings and choirs, Christmas markets in the central plazas. Not the big TV events and specials, not the booze fest, not houses looking like Blackpool illuminations, not the Santa images everywhere and musak pop and carols blaring in every store. Not the toy buying blitz - in fact the kids all look forward to the Three Kings Festival on Jan 6, that's much more like Christmas UK. They are everywhere - TV shop windows, school pantos.   Read Full Story TwitterTravellers.com

TwitterTravellers.com:  Meeting and information sharing for all things travel related
New website will serve travelers, travel experts and providers of travel-related services

Dana Point, California November 17, 2010 -- TwitterTravellers.com was launched today as a meeting and information-sharing place for travelers, travel experts and travel-related services – and as a source of fun and information for all things related to travel.

Twitter Travellers is a free travel-focused social network that includes user-generated travel blogs, travel contests, photos, videos, travel information and featured tweets pertaining to travel.  It offers members their own individual blog spaces, travel chat space and the ability to post pictures and videos.  Members can also participate in travel discussions and promote themselves, their blogs and their travel agendas on a home page discussion board.  All of the activities can be integrated with users’ Facebook and Twitter pages.

“The idea is to give travelers and everyone else involved with travel a place to connect and share experiences and information for free without having to pay a membership fee,” said Twitter Travelers founder Teri Morin, travel and tourism networker and avid traveler.

“It’s an online meeting place for all things related to travel.”  Morin said.  “It’s a place for travellers to connect with other travelers, travel journalists, travel news networks, publicists, vacation-rental owners, vacation-rental sites, hotel groups and other travel-related experts.  Twitter Travellers also provides a social network marketing platform for hotels, airlines and vacation-rental owners to connect with travelers and expand their social marketing campaigns.  And there’s a wide variety of discussion groups on everything from where to stay in Florida to top destinations in Europe.”

The site will have a monthly travel writer contest and travel photo contest for travelers to share their vacation experience and photos.

Twitter Travelers is fast becoming a great place for travelers with a daily expanding network of members from countries around the world – including Iceland, India, France, Spain, Egypt and Mexico.  All of the new members have one thing in common – a passion for travel.

Members can post videos of their latest properties or vacation experiences.  For example, HQ Villas – which is headquartered in Europe and specializes in private, luxurious vacation rentals in France, Spain, and Italy – has become a member of Twitter Travellers and featured their videos on TwitterTravellers.com.  And a Hollywood producer of documentaries and short films has joined Twitter Travellers to showcase his work and passion for traveling in Africa.  The site is fast becoming the place for film producers, celebrities, wellness retreats and travel and tourism companies extending their social network brand.

"Twitter Travellers offers travelers ideas on places to visit,” Morin said.  “And it gives travel companies insights on how to direct and shape their marketing strategy.  It really creates a unique and interesting travel community."

Current government-issued travel advisories will also be available through the site.

About Twitter Travellers:  Twitter Travellers is a social network site focused on travel and includes user-generated travel blogs, photos, videos, maps, travel information and featured tweets.  TwitterTravellers.com was founded by Teri Morin as a universal site for people who share a passion for traveling around the world.  It is not affiliated in any way with Twitter Inc. or Facebook but allows featured tweets from travelers with a Facebook style.
